For three years running, Avoda Arts continues its productive partnership with The Jewish Education Project on the “LOMED” initiative. LOMED supports New York-area congregations in creating contemporary models of Jewish learning that include families, maximize powerful learning, and build community. Avoda Arts is proud to support these innovating congregations with broad-based programs and services, including staff development, curriculum resources and arts integration consulting.

Nicole Opper's short films have screened at over 70 festivals, including Palm Springs Int'l Film Festival, Frameline and Outfest, and have garnered three audience awards for Best Short. They have been supported by The National Foundation for Jewish Culture, The Lucius & Eva Eastman Fund and The Puffin Foundation, among others. She has directed and produced advocacy videos for Oxfam America, The Grameen Foundation and Positive Planet. Opper line produced Macky Alston's The Killer Within, (Toronto Film Festival 2006, Discovery Channel 2007 premier), and associate produced Peter Miller's Sacco and Vanzetti (Full Frame 2006 Premier, 2007 First Run Features theatrical release). She graduated with honors from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
